Khaela Maricich is a performing artist and pop musician. Under the name the Blow, she has released a number of music albums and toured nationally and internationally. Working in music venues as well as art spaces, her performances explore and exploit the conventions of each format. Her recent work interweaves elements of narrative performance art with traditional pop-show dynamics. She lives and works in New York City. For the current production, The Blow is working in collaboration with installation and sound artist Melissa Dyne. Dyne is designing the visual and sonic production of the live performance, drawing on her expertise in acoustics, light, and spatial phenomena.
